About Workshop
CRISPR technology has revolutionized the field of genetic research, making genome editing more accessible and precise. This 3-day workshop is designed to offer an in-depth, hands-on guide to using CRISPRdirect and CHOPCHOP, two powerful tools for designing CRISPR experiments. Participants will learn how to effectively utilize these tools to create guide RNA (gRNA) for targeting specific genes, perform on-target and off-target analysis, and interpret results for different research applications.
The workshop will include real-time demonstrations, case studies, and interactive sessions to ensure participants gain the practical skills required for successful implementation of CRISPR technology in various biological systems. By the end of the workshop, attendees will be equipped to independently conduct CRISPR experiments and troubleshoot common issues associated with gRNA design and target specificity.
