About Workshop
This 3-day live hands-on workshop is designed to help researchers, PhD scholars, academicians, students, and R&D professionals use AI tools responsibly and effectively in research and development. The workshop focuses on practical applications of AI for literature review, research idea generation, hypothesis development, scientific writing, data interpretation, reference support, patent searching, and research productivity.
Participants will explore popular AI tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Perplexity, Elicit, Scite, Consensus, Research Rabbit, Connected Papers, Semantic Scholar, Google Scholar, and Litmaps. Along with tool demonstrations, the workshop will also address important ethical concerns such as AI hallucination, bias, plagiarism, authorship, copyright, data privacy, cybersecurity, and responsible disclosure of AI use in research.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to design a responsible AI-assisted research workflow, use AI tools for academic and industrial R&D tasks, and critically evaluate AI-generated research outputs before using them in publications, reports, or projects.
Aim
