This workshop is designed to provide participants with a strong foundation in three essential material characterization techniques: FTIR Spectroscopy, Raman Spectroscopy, and X-ray Diffraction (XRD). Through a blend of theory, interpretation, and practical exercises, participants will learn how these analytical tools are used to study material composition, molecular structure, crystallinity, and functional properties across material science, nanotechnology, and pharmaceutical applications.
Over three days, the workshop will guide participants from the fundamentals of each technique to advanced data analysis and real-world applications. Each day includes a dedicated hands-on session using accessible computational platforms such as Google Colab and Jupyter Notebooks, enabling participants to work directly with spectral and diffraction data using Python-based tools.
